Default Anyone got a TB02 R?

They are many in the group that I hang out with. Not a bad car or a bad deal. I still like my regular TB02 with the Suirakarn EVOIII upgrades better though.

What do you meen "dirt"?
it is a good deal when you llok at the cost of the hop ups, but you don't get the motor mount, the swaybar set, the chassis brace, or the bell cranks.
Then if yo want the aluminum suspension mounts they don't come in the kit.
And I think the carbon fibre braces look great, but it doesn't seem to be anymore stiffer.

If I was lookinf for a TCS GT2 or GT3 car it is a cood deal, like I said cause of the hop ups, and even yet I might still get one for spares, and the hop ups.

are different maker ball ends (specifically titanium) tcs legal? I know you can use any makers screws but didn't know if ball ends fell in the same category.

nope. NOT TCS legal. tamiya makes the blue aluminum ones. which are lighter than the stock steel ones.

did you put all your goodies on your TB yet?

nope...didn't realize how heavy all those pieces were. The only things I did use were the driveshafts, servo mounts, and center shaft...that's it!!!! Can't use the oneway cause i don't have the bevel gear for it...and can't use the suspension mounts cause i don't have the suspension balls....
i'll put on the camber mounts another time. I'm just trying to make this car as light as I can afford right now thanks for the help.

How are you guys shimming the center shaft? There seems to quite a bit of fore and aft movement allowing the spur to move with it. Seems like the only place I can shim it is between the spur and shaft bearing but then that moves the shaft all the way back. Is there another way? Or do you guys drive it like it is??

Default Good carpet foams setup

I race my TB02 on carpet using foams all round, and was wondering what is a good setup to use on the high grip surface

I have fund the stock setup was pretty good with the sway bars, ie able to take the high speed corners very well, but I would like to have some more steering as well

thanks in advance
