Cool

Here's the VTA bodies I'm working on this week. Better pics coming in the future. 69 Camaro and a 70 "Plum Crazy" Challenger. I don't know what it is about muscle cars. They are cool even without wheels.

Thanks Rube! Faskolor makes some beautiful paints. I love the purple and orange. They look good just sitting in the bottle! I AM surprised/disappointed about how much the shades vary from bottle to bottle sometimes with Faskolor. Same exact paint color/# but two very different shades. The Q.C. guy must be snoozing where ever its made.

Better pictures of the 69 Camaro and a 70 Challenger. Both from HPI of course. I'm not sure what numbers yet because I may sell them for hobby $. We'll see. I always hate to sell them or run them when they are this new and I've spent so much time on them.

I just completed gluing up a set of 26mm/31mm vintage tires to the HPI Vintage CC wheels (26mm - HPI #33472/31mm - HPI #33473). Unfortunately the 31mm wheels won't work with the stock wheel nuts on a TC3/TC4 due to the deep recess not being wide enough to fit a wheel wrench. Here is a photo of the mounted tires - the HPI website only shows the wheels.

Default Nuts, Nuts Nuts

Buy a inexpensive 11/32 nut driver and grind it down to fit. I have done this several times over the years. Don't let your nuts ruin your life my friend!

P.S. Nice wheels by the way!

You can also shim out the nut on the outside and put the nut on backwards to help keep it on
