I have tryed it a few times, no luck, when it is pluged into the receiver the speedy works fine so I don,t think there is a loose wire.

Thanks for the input.

Gary

What are you unplugging ? Are you unplugging the RS from the hotwire or are you unplugging the hotwire from the usb port ?

Default set up for a LRP X11 17.5

Hey there guys just wondering what is a good setup for a LRP X11 17.5 with the Tekin RS, the track i run on is out door asphalt with medium grip, some tight coners with a long very fast back straight if this helps.

I just got my hotwire and set up my esc but now when I go to calibrate my radio it doesnt "see" my forward throttle position. It will see it though if I reverse my throttle in the radio, but then it doesnt sound like there is any turbo or boost

I have a 3pk
turbo 50
timing 12
ramp 3
delay .1
start rpm 1475
throttle profile 4

ive tried expanding the neutral position to 4
also tried turning my throttle epa in the radio down to 90%

With Futaba radios you need to swap the throttle channel to "reverse" if you haven't already.

Thanks man - i thought that may have been it. Do you guys se anything in my settings above that would explain the lack of timing and boost when i run the car?

Default 21.5 ?

Can't find any 21.5 motor settings here, anyone have recommendations for the RS with a 21.5t? We're allowed to run this setup in VTA at our indoor carpet track, which has an approx. 80 ft. straight. What theoretical differences should there be with the settings vs. a lower turn (17.5) motor?

I don't think if its hit the battery cut off, as when I got back to the office, I disabled it and its still doing the same thing.

Also I can turn the motor freely by hand so I dont think anything is jammed.

Problem is I have nothing here to test it with, don't have another battery to try, but I'm hoping something hasn't failed.

Has anyone else had a similar problem and what was the outcome?
it sounds like the magnet on the stator shaft has exploded, my trinity nemisis 13.5 did the same thing after about 10 minutes of run time on my rs

Wednesday evening try out the RS pro with 4.0t CS motor on the Heemstede track.
It was very powerfull and very quick also on the straigth.
Despite that som teamwave fellows talked about the RS PRO was melting
when you drive it mod 4.0t.
I must admit that the ESC temp light's indicate 2 or 3 leds the ESC worked fine and every lap the same trottle respons and big, very big punch all the way, this without a cooling fan the ESC did reach temps over 85degr C, with runtimes over 7 minutes and topspeed between 92 to 99 km/h.
This for me is the most powerfull ESC i've ever had.
Maybe is there somebody with a good set-up for mod.
I welcome any good suggestions.

Thanks
Ed
