I was told that the documentation that comes with the RP mini tires is wrong and that the higher numbers mean firmer tires. Meaning the RP24 would offer more grip......RP36 less.

Yeah, thats what I was referring to, but when you use them they are used as a motor heatsink (since that was open). The M chassis fan is not a motor heatsink.

Do you guys have the M03 (not the M03M) tech racing conversion manual ?

I'm curious about the steering system..... I see from the pics (Jap RC World Nov and Dec 2006) , they are different....
I already got the M03M manual from Tony G (rc-mini.net, thanks mate ).....
Now I need the M03

Could you post it ?

TIA.

Might have to buy a set of the black ABC rims, my white ones shattered on the first run, I couldn't believe it!

I just bought some of the black ones today! If you want, I'll let you know how they hold up before you order yours. Just gotta wait for them to come from Japan ;P

Default new to mini

Hi guys,

I'm a novice in terms of running a mini. I've pretty much read everything there is to a mini, except I'm a bit lost with regards to inserts.

I like my ride to be TCS legal and would like to know what Tamiya inserts works with the mini.

Thanks

I read through the entire post and I am a little confused about the swift conversion. I know it was covered maybe clear to ya but not to me.

What would I need to convert my M04M roadster to swift suspension?
I am guessing my M04 comes with 0 deg toe in and would need the 2 deg?
The swift is better suspension?

Keep up the great work and comments. . .

Oh and Customworksking, I think I must have missed your setup & testing info from the Novak race?

Default Tamiya Manuals

Go to http://www.tamiya.com/english/rc/manuals.htm to download a copy of the M03 manual.

Hey, dont know if any of you guys knew this already, but I bought a gram scale, and for hahas weighed the M03 kit-stock 20T Pinion, and a Robinson Racing 20T Metric Pinion...

Kit - 1.7g
RR - 3.8g

The Robinson is twice the weight.. Not that either weigh MUCH.. just an interesting thing I thought I'd share with those who might like that info..

what 23t?

I had atamiya 23turn and the 20t pinion was fine, but with that said if you had a 18t pinion you would be set!
