Your wires are routed depending on where your going to mount the esc. I have mounted the esc directly behind the ifs... Much better then hanging 300 dollars off the side of the car. Just go from there not to difficult it's just how your going to prefer it. The balance of the car is great but I say do what to the little grams that everyone makes such a fuss about. Make your tweaks and adjustments and just drive the car. If you want throw a 10 gram weight where the esc should have gone I don't see it making a diffence.

It is dusty but I have an vacuum cleaner right beside me on all the time.
I use 600 water sandpaper to do the final touch and the result are very smooth edges.
Today I hope I have the car ready. Still lots to do on the radioplate and the rear stiffner.

I will take pics and post them when I can you won't get as clean of an install as you plan just make sure all your wires are accessible use some zip ties and double sides tape and just do the best you can. There's not a wrong way to install just try it first see how it fits and if you don't like it change it. I've mounted the fan over the top of the motor and my radio receiver is also on the left side of the car in the back closets to the motor. Once I get the transponder I'll put it up front some where

Hey Jerzi don't worry about ridicule
Love what you're doing to it and can't wait to see the progress
I make parts for scale trucks all the time
It is very satisfying seeing the results

What's everyone's thoughts about the 06 on carpet? how's the feel? Do you run swaybars? Just curious being that it's a different suspension setup than normal....

I've driven two, (One IFS, One standard stand up shock)
box stock, (but 3000 oil in the rear diff, 5000 in the front)
No sway bars
Both, very balanced feel on carpet.
First race with chassis, took me from normally 3rd place, to 1st.
Stand up shocks are easier/more familiar to make adjustments.

Yes I dont care what other is talkin about this project.
My car will be like I want it to be.
I asked about pics of the exotek chassis but no one has them so I had to create my own chassis.
I have carbon and the right tools and lots of time to make these parts but I dont have anything to go from.
The chassis I have seen is not in my mind at all.
My chassis will be very stiff and I hope it will be raceready in 1450gr.
I hope the car is ready today so I can post some pics to you today.
For sure it is little wierd but very clean and it will for sure work.
I had big problems to find some radioplate posts and the only place I find them was from JQ (JQ PRODUCTS), so little thanks to JQ for the parts.
Without them I cant finish my project.

I have this chassis coming in the next few weeks as well to run a bit at H30. I plan on using the shock tower setup for the front, and starting with a setup as close to Jilles carpet setup from last years snowbirds as the suspension will allow.
Are the arm mounts interchangeable with those used on the 417?
