Thanks for the info TrueR/C.

I did that all ready, all but suspension. Going to go over that tonite. I am kind of wondering if the chassis took a hard enough hit to tweak it. I loosened all the top deck screws and re tightened but that did not seem to help. Maybe I need to take apart and lie flat on flat surface and see. I wonder if not being perfectly balanced would cause it. Anyone have an opinion on this thought.

One more thing. Spring tension. Does anyone know what the rates are for the springs that come in the kit, or what they are close to? I want to firm up the front with AE springs but would like to know about where I am with the stock ones.

One more thing on the car dog tracking. Do any of you experienced chassis tuners think it could be the middle brace between the upper and lower deck. I didn't put this in when I first built and raced the car and that is when it ran its truest and straightest. I put that brace in it and the second night at the races is when I started experiencing this the most.

One other thing that I noticed after putting this brace in is that from a stop or running forward at partial throttle, when I nail the throttle, the car tries to veer to the right. Once again, I only noticed this after I put the brace in.

For general info. I am running stock class on foams.

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Pro 4 racer's,

I will be testing the BMI 3mm chassis, top deck and towers tomorrow (carpet/foams). I also got some of the rc-square hop ups on the car. I was able to get the rear toe down to 2 for now (2.5 toe block with square .5 hubs on reversed).

I will provide feedback and any set up info I come across.

Default Hpi Pro 4

Guys;

Yesterday we received another Pro-4 kit at the store. Of course everyone had to check it out.

One thing that I did notice that unlike my kit, the countersinking on the Chassis holes were at the proper depth.\

I just ordered a Pro4 and was wonder what the rear toe is at in stock form? What does it have per side? My TC3 is pissing me off so I need to try something else. The TC3 graphtie parts strip too easily and break fairly easy. If the Pro4 holds up like the old Pro2 did then I'm in business.

Pro 2 is a tank...

Pro 4 is ok for a high performance tourer but will still break. (Not as much as AE graphite parts....)

I too find TC3's graphite parts strip easily...

I need some aluminum knuckles.
rczombies.... you sure you don't have to order from japan anytime soon?

Does anyone know if the Rayspeed springs fit the Pro4 shocks or not?

superfly, Unless you tweaked you chassis while putting it in, the brace shouldn't cause it to veer. I put mine in from the start, and havent had a problem

Thanks for the info. I am going to pull the chassis apart and see if I tweaked it. Think I will leave the brace out since it was running best for me with out it.

Default Hop Ups

I know this has already been talked about but could someone tell me where in the states I can get hop ups like the transponder servo mount and the different toe plates.

The Kit supplied mount provides 3 degrees TOTAL of rear toe. There are soon to be availible mounts that will allow adjustments in 1/2 degrees down to ZERO.
You can also use another front mount (2.5) if you need a little less in the Rear.
