I use Schumacher gold turnbuckles for the steering

The gold matches the hinge pins

I've been using non-blue titanium rods from Lundsford, and already bent one of those! :-(

I think I read that Tamiya is releasing blue titanium rods soon?

hehe...

Stock setup is B/A Front, and XB/D Rear, with long arms...
Now bear in mind that the pin widths on the Long arms are 54.5 and 55.5 F & R respectively. With the short arms they are 53 and 54.5 respectively... so you narrow the front by 3mm and the rear by 2mm, simply by mounting the short arms. Pic below shows two tables (one for front, one for rear), with what the difference is with the different block combo's and arms. In fact running D/D Short on the front will still give you a narrower front than if you were running kit setup... Bear in mind the numbers are for the outer hinge pin width (not the car width), but they still give an idea of how the car width will change.

for steering i use the tamiya DT-02 42mm steel turnbuckles. never had any one break and they look super cool in black/blue

anyone know where I can get a replacement flanged tube for the top of the chub? part number is 9804382 (it's the 4.5x3.5mm one) but they seem somewhat scarce online

I broke an outdrive of my 416 spool. Does anybody knows if I can use the 415 outdrives? Or wihich one do you guys advise?

Forget the plastic things

I use the TAO5 steel outdrives.

Though its best if you use the steel driveshafts with them aswell, otherwise you'll be shearing driveshafts.

If you cant find them let me know
