Aren't this just the 'regular' 415 blocks and not the new style 416's??

They are home made LOL. Marc was colouring everything he could get his hands on at Reedy with his sweet "tamiya blue" shapie marker .

As for the upper decks, i have tried takin the rear bridge part out a while back in preperation for Reedy. I found the car to have a little more grip/consistency but when at reedy i eventually switched back as my car was not transitioning very well through the shicanes! For low grip situations it works well.

Lying the shocks down makes the spring more progressive, so there will be a more gradual retardation of roll through the corner. Upright shocks do the opposite, they will roll a little at first but then resist the roll more abbruptly making the car feel more responsive but ultimately having less grip

Just like to say congrats to Tamiya for making a brilliant handerling car.

Dialled!

Basically run the DHI CUP Setup everywhere, with a few minor tweeks outdoors.

*Thumbs up*

So I have finally given up on my TA05MS and decided to buy a 416 for the 13.5 class. Does anyone have any experience with this kit, and a 13.5 on asphalt with a good starting setup? Come on hebiki...I know you got something for me!

I noticed this yesterday, with DD on the front the track width is equal to the rear, so adding spacers means you're running a wider front than rear track width. Not saying it doesnt work but I always thought that was a no no.

I've also found from experience that the middle hole on the rear bulkhead causes the rear to snap oversteer mid corner when running outdoors on concrete

So the DHI setup is working pretty well for mere mortals? Are you guys changing much when you run it with a one-way, and slower motors?

What turnbuckles are people using for steering? I bent one of the aluminium ones the other night and was thinking of putting some other steer or titanium ones in, preferably blue

edit: think I found the ones I'll use
