HPI 12th scale car is no longer in production.

hey, i though CRC proved that damping tubes are better than the plates...but hara is using the the plates.....hmmm

i didnt say it looked better just said no need to bother with his car this is a good car. you'll never get hara's car but you can get mine

Not necessarily, I had the privelege of watching at Cleveland last year, and his car was SILLY FAST!!! Unfortunately it handled like an absolute bag of fertilizer, and therefore he was not fast. He's one helluva wheel though.

Barry,

I was at the Indoor Champs. Got to see Hara run. Car was very good, he made B main. I went to Thad Garner's room to check out his car. Very nice piece of work. Word from Thad was that a conversion kit will be available Stateside soon. What you have seen in the pics is what you will be able to buy. The chassis has been revised slightly to help it work better on carpet.

a conversion kit for the RS12G or the L3? or just an updated kit?
didn't find something official on HPI Japan....

I was his car at the champs too. It looked pretty much identical to the ones posted on this forum.

I dont see how they would have a conversion kit, everything is different, lol! They mind as well just sell a full kit.
