According to following page , this kit are put on the market as a conversion kit of RC12L3(Or YRX-12). The pictures in this page are the contents included in a kit. Probably it is necessary to prepare Front arm etc. separately. It seems that it will be put on the market in Japan in February. Price is 15500Yen($144.70).

Hey, a thread discussing the perfect design for a pancar! AllrighT!!

I've been looking into the designs of pancars a lot lately. I've built my own Asso mutant Pro ten Car. It's not 1/12th, 1/10th, but that's basically a 1/12th on steroids.

I have observed that most carpet 4 cell 1/12's use damper tubes, while asphalt cars seem to use the old disc damper.
I prefer either complete shocks (like Asso micro shocks) or tube dampers, because you can adjust forward and side traction seperately. Also when you use damper fluid on the friction plates it easily gets pushed out and it gets contaminated very quickly.

Hey Barry White, have you got an old Pro ten lying around? You would be a nice addition to the group of crazy racers I'm with running the Inter Club Competition (ICC) here in Holland and Germany. We might even race in Belgium in 2005!
We have some national top racers running with us, as well as racing team Viol from Germany, all racing and competing together in a very relaxed atmosphere.

okay, after looking at pictures of this car, how does the rear stay straight? I can't see how it's mounted. Also, isn't there a lot of unsprun weight there, and aren't the batteries pushed forward with all of that rear suspension stuff between them and the pod? The car looks pretty cool...I wonder how it works.

that rear suspension is from HPI's old pancar, it's neat to see it being developed into something new. I still have some of the rear springs that control the side to side movement somewhere.

Riemon is making purple hubs.
I sent them an e-mail 3 months ago and they replied me that they won't sell their product abroad for the moment...But I think it is possible to order it through a japanese shop
