OH HAPPY DAY!

GT ESC, Mid range ESC, new 13.5 and new 10.5 motors all came in for evaluation today. Let the testing begin!

I'll be giving them a workout this week, and we should have an order ready to place next week.

1st run results:

Mid-level ESC and new 13.5 motor:
NICE!
ESC and motor are well matched in capability. Very smooth throttle curve on an RTR radio, and very quick response/rap-up. I really like the way it feels. 3 snaps up!

Then I went to change setings and it's a little tedious and fast moving for me. two snaps mediocre and one snap down
I've got the digital programming box, but no instructions for it and I haven't figured it out just yet. I think this will be a MUST HAVE accessory for this and the GT ESCs

I'll be getting baselines on the new 13.5 and 10.5 motors in the garage tonight in order to compare them to the to brand orange motors tomorrow.

First impression: Very nice stuff! I'm happy

how do these motors with internal fans compare to the others like LRP and Novak?

im in the market for a 3.5 motor for a large track (800ft length). im planing on running 5 cell so runtime is very important. also its 32 C air temp here all year long so running cool is also important.

thanks

THat's a shame...considering you actually ran the Mi3 on oval dirt when he asked you...just for that he should let you keep them

ahh to clarify he ran his car in dirt oval and I watched in the corner getting a bit sick to my stomach the whole time

I did however run a Fusion 21 for a while and had a blast, and I'm looking forward to the fusion 28 on the oval as well as the local road course.

I'll get my chance on the Speedpassion goodies in the next day or two when I actually muster up the courage to bring my car to work

From what I saw this afternoon though I'm really looking forward to running the 13.5 and SP ESC's in the near future

Come on boss lets get to testing!!!

I'm now waiting for my Speedpassion electric converted Schumacher Riot to run dirt oval : weird:

Shawn are you testing to gauge performance or testing to see if Schumacher will start distributing these ESCs and motors?
