If you are using a sensorless motor, swap any 2 wires on the motor.

any lipo should be 3 volts per cell. Assuming that the 3200 is a 2 cell pack, 6v is the way to go.

Adam E-mailed the answer to be #5 for racing. He says he never would run below #5.

So, be careful there Richie. (et al)

Shawn and I agreed that 3.0 is the absolute lowest that you should have it set at.
(which neither of us recommend by the way)

I said #5 which i believe is 3.2?? only because its ALWAYS better safe than sorry.

My goal is not to extend per say, but make sure you can utilize the entire life-span of your battery, and that one of our products isn't the reason its been cut short.

If your solely using this battery/speed control combo for racing, it won't really be an issue because even in practice you normally will only run 8 min max at a time, and the cutoff voltage wont even come into play...normally

Man Alive, this is a blistering set up. Night and day to the Novak. The programability is astounding. Ran 5 lipo packs last night (1 pack 5 times that is). Set # 3 at 5 as per Adam's message-fine. Just to see what happens, I set #3 at 6, highest cut off voltage, thinking there might be a voltage drop glitch; no a one in a five min heat plus 1 minute warm up !! Played on the punch setting, starting at 8=great, one heat at 6 got me quicker, one heat at 9, got me faster !! Know what's coming from this ?? But who can resist that punch......

Didn't have time to play with the reverse brake (?) function, in fact, it's a bit of a contradiction in my febble mind sitting here at a terminal. Better read the book when I get home.

How much space does the GT take up? Is it equivalent to a GTX, or bigger? Also, I noticed no fan, just a heatsink. Do you need to add a fan to run it, or passive cooling is ok?

The GT comes w/ the optional fan. Size wise it's about the same as other BL speedos from LRP and Novak.

Using a 17.5, 13.5 and 10.5 the speed control doesnt really get hot enough to require a fan. But you could use it if you wanted.

Size wise its comparible with most other BL Speedo's on the market
