Side cover not fitting with direct drive
Hi guys
I have fitted the new TLR direct drive to my 3.0, and have noticed now that the standard side cover over the spur/pinion no longer fits, it fouls on the spur.
Im running the 72T spur.
Has anyone else found this or have I done something wrong with fitment??

It's the spacer I did the same thing and then double checked my work and took it out.

Frank, I'm wondering if I can run your stock nats set up with the exotek lay down conversion or is it completely different geometry than the tlr one? and if so whats a good set up for the exotek lay down transmission? I run at ocrc and coyote hobbies...any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Must have the worst luck, new laydown coming out? Right after I spent $170 on the laydown... Crap man haha.

LOL I saw this on Facebook. I haven't even ran my laydown conversion yet (tomorrow). New conversion is a conversion for the conversion! Getting hard to keep up!!

Not a new conversion. It is a optional transmissiom case that does not have the diff raised. Allows you to run a higher ride height with the correct geometry. for lower traction surfaces and should allow the car to land better due to the extra travel of the suspension
