Completely eliminates wheel wobble throughout the suspension travel.
They are super smooth.
Creates a bit more traction and rotation we feel.
Also use ECS front and rear on XB4

that's $90 of DCJ on the car, still... but it sure will make the rear suspension even smoother My car is done... unfortunately I didn't get my pistons in time so I drilled stock ones. With a bit of luck I'm getting them today in the mail and I will put them on between two runs tomorrow. gotta love fully tearing down shocks at the track! (not)

So is the 2x 1.6 and 2x 1.7 the ticket on the pistons? I cant find my 1.6 drill bit do it is going to be 1.57 and 1.68 lol. Hopefully I have enough 400 weight left, if not I will try it with the 350 weight on the rears. Build is going extremely smooth right now, simple car and I like it!

This is a tricky one.
If the traction stays consistent and the track doesn't break up I would think the Carpet car could do very well.
But my personal gut feeling choice would be a Dirt Edition 3 gear setup
Are people converting their cars to lay down transmission with success or are the 3 and 4 gear mid motor cars with motor to the rear and top shaft up higher performing better ?

Gear Diff Oil Weight?
Bent,
Over on the XB4 thread, you mentioned running 500k cst oil minimum, and normally 1M cst in your diffs. Does that apply to the 2WD car as well? I am very curious since the kit comes with 3000 cst...quite a bit thinner. Thanks for all of your help, you are quite a brand ambassador!

For the XB4 it's only the center diff that we run 500K, 1M or 2M.
Front and rear diffs we use anything from 2K to 15K or ball diffs depending on traction.

Got it, that makes sense.
