You might be driving through the suspension and chassis slapping the jump face.

remove the drag brake or stay on the gas. If you try to scrub it like a buggy, it will nose down hard.

I brought the FT med spring assortment but it has #91329 which seems softer and is shorter than the white spring that came with the kit
There are now truck and buggy specific Springs, I believe the white that come with the kit of the truck are rated at 4.05 pounds. I have seen people using the purple buggy front Springs (which are rated stiffer than the truck front gray ones) with the 9mm cups

I don't run any drag brake and I tried wide open, lift a little then gas it. Same results. Almost like the back springs are sending the ass up after take off. Pretty strange acting

Too soft? I'll try some others and see what happens. Rear ride height is 25mm so that's probably what is happening. Thanks

Tested some sway bars this weekend on the sc5m. I suggest running the if you are on higher grip. I custom made both my front and rear bars using 1.6mm piano wire.

In case you guys didn't notice it, I've created the Wiki for this thread. (Actually Wildcat did as a test for me ) Similar to the old '1st page' posts, but now it appears at the top of every page.

Anyone can edit it, but just keep in mind that EVERY edit is recorded and we can see who did it. Abusing it will result in a forum ban.

My suggestion is that if you have a new item you want to post on the Wiki and aren't sure if you should, just post it in the normal part of the thread and ask. If you see a majority in agreement, post it.

I just opened the box tonight. Will start the build tomorrow or this weekend.

I have been abusing a SC10.2 for the last two years. I have it setup pretty well. Handles almost as good as my brothers sc5m.

I do not race, but my brother and I go to SDRC every Thursday and crash into each other, we call it racing. We have a good time. So I need to be faster, better than my brother. You know brotherly love and all.

I bought a set of these for my SC10.2 and was wondering inf any one is using them on the SC5m? I never put them in as I broke the chassis again and just ordered the SC5m.

Does the sway bar kit ASC91535 fit this truck?

https://www.amainhobbies.com/team-as...c91535/p275291

I have a good selection of springs from the old truck. grey, yellow, white, blue, red.

Looking to be faster then he is, so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks..

Buzz.

Thanks. As long as my truck is faster than my brothers, I am happy.

When ever we make a change or buy something that improves the truck, we call it the super secret. He does not know I have the new SC5m. I broke the frame on my old truck, told him I am using the parts from my 2 old trucks to make one complete truck. He wont notice what under the old body, so when I blow his doors off, he will wonder why

Thanks.

Buzz.
