Has anyone had issues mounting wheels to the 10.3, I have jc hazard scte offset. The problem is I had to drill out the centres to fit over the new stub axles? Also the inside of the wheel rubs the cap head screw on the steering link where it attaches to the steering knuckle? Any ideas of foxes guys??

[QUOTE=Hoese37;13981419] I feel that the stock package is a bit light, but I found it to handle great with 6x1.5 piston. QUOTE]
Was that on stock weight Shock oil?
I just ordered 6x1.5 to use when my .3 arrives and looking to see what I should start with at least. Ran the 8x1.3 on the first gen trucks.

mine jumped nose up all day, I had to keep off the throttle to keep the truck flat in the air.
Take the washers off of the top , I believe they say store 2 washers under the head of the bolt.

The manual calls for 2 washers above and 2 below the steering ball link for initial bumpsteer.

You can take the 2 off the top end of the screw, they do nothing but give you a place to keep the extra washers/shims.

I've yet to get the truck under full power on a track due to time however I'm curious about a sound I'm hearing while pushing the truck back and forth by hand. When the motor isn't installed, everything is very smooth however when I line up the pinion and move it by hand I hear a noticeable rattle. Now is this just the pinion interacting with the spur gear? Perhaps I'm too loosely aligned?

Are you using a mod 1 pinion? When I got my first tekno a couple years ago I didn't know what a mod 1 size pinion was and I tried to use my 32 pitch from my sc10 4x4 and that sounded terrible. It made the truck "go" but was definitely not right.

It's normal. You're hearing the lash between the pinion and spur when the motor passes through each magnetic field when turned. If you spin the motor it will feel notchy. No big deal that's the way most motors feel, some more than others depending on design. The noise can get better if you adjust the pinion closer to the spur but will always be there.

Firstly thanks for info on the wheel issues guys
You mean the Battered one that is all black base with fluro yellow and a little grey. That was the 2014 livery:
Or if you meant the other one which I just did for this season, see video. For more info just google "team kirk rc" or go to www teamkirk .co.uk (cant paste a link??)
