it's a built in feature - you can run the mounts in a high or low wing configuration. high wing is more stable on the ground. low wing is more stable in the air during high wind conditions. it was very windy at the worlds coupled with some big jumps.

Think it's just a "tuning option" (high wing vs. low wing). Manual shows mounting them facing up.

2nd night out, and a couple of bent front drive axles. Don't remember any spectacular slam that I'd have suspected to cause this.
However I do see a few marks where the front outdrives made contact with the arms, so the arms were definitely fully compressed at some point, which would explain it because the axles are bent near the outdrives.
No other issues with the car as of yet (no DNF's), and have a few new sets of axles on the way.
