Just looking to see if it makes sense to purchase these for setup options.
We run them on low to medium grip dirt or clay tracks.

On medium to high grip clay, astro or carpet we run the stock hard parts.

And on really high grip astro and carpet we run the additional carbon braces.

On high grip tracks the medium parts make the car more unpredictable as you will have unwanted flex in the chassis.

22-23 pinion for a 7.5T motor.

Amount of boost depends on motor, ESC, gearing and length of the straight on your track.

Find your preferable gearing for the rest of the track and if needed add a bit of boost to reach the wanted top speed on the straight.

If it tops out about 3/4 down the straight you are usually close to a manageable top speed.

Too much boost will just make it hard to control right before braking.

I'd be curious to learn how your car performed on the lower bite track with the medium parts on it. I have a similar situation when the track changes here.

What springs & fluid is a good starting point for '15 on low-med traction tracks?

Can you run rear shocks in the rear for the '16? If so, do most people run that setup?

I had the same question sorta... running in the front of the towers gives better traction? What would be the benefit of running behind the towers?

Running behind the tower gives slightly better bump handling and a bit slower rotation through corners.

You loose rotation in corners and you can't run as much droop (due to angle of the rear arms / anti squat) when running them behind.

For lower grip or bumpy tracks where it would be a benefit to run them in the rear we prefer to run added droop with the shocks in front instead.
