Seems like I read somewhere that regular ae/ky when will fit if you swap the hexes out. Anyone know for sure?

aka red definitely lasts longer than the proline blue before they feel soft. JC firm is very long lasting but really too firm for almost any condition. proline is about perfect for mounting and using the same day. aka is close but sometimes I think too firm right away and you need a few runs on them to break in just a little. never used JC medium.

I've used the JC Medium in my stadium truck (i know, i know...apples to oranges) and after only a few race days they get completely broken down and feel like an open cell.

From what i read they will fit the offset will be of just a touch and you will also have to drill the center of the wheel. Also i think the are using the losi scte hex on them.

You read that in this thread, can't remember what page but supposedly they do work. Only way to know for sure is to measure with them on and find out. I've got a few extra sets of b4.1 buggy hexes i'll slap on in a bit.

Just measured the hexes...

Standard XB4 hex measures 4.96 on a set of calipers.

B4.1 FRONT hex measures 5.03.

B4.1 REAR hex measures at 5.35

So in short, using b4.1 front hex on the rear would work as "standard"

scratch that.

Trying to put the AE hexes on the rear doesn't work. the shaft diameter of the xb4 is much thicker and will not let the hex slide on.

kyosho wheels work in the front with k hexes, the offset is slightly incorrect
kyosho rears are way off

Inner diameter of the xb4 hex is 4.88. ID of the B4.1 is 4.64

The XB is smoother, easier, faster, a dream to work on and frankly seems to be a tougher car as well.

Ran this buggy first time last night. Built it to box set up

Ended up removing rear sway bar ... Car has amazing turn in
Felt like a carpet car. Got comfortable by the main ( haven't drove 4 wheel in 3 years ) ... Qualified 2 and took the win in the a main

Ran a 6.5 reedy 22/81. M4 suburb rear / mc scrub fronts

Gonna go to m4 scrubs Sunday on the front

Gear diffs and build we're best I ever experienced ... This car is amazing

What is the offset on the b4.1 and losi scte will go right on just wasnt able to do the wheels because the hole was to small and didnt have a drill with me.
