Everything is well explained with oil weight to put in and slipper setup.

I did soak the orings in shock oil like Bentka said and did oil each bearings with good quality bearing lube taking care to wipe any excess oil.

+1 on soaking the diff orings in shock oil, oiling the bearings and sanding and sealing the edges on the CF parts. Bentka advised me to do all of this on my 15XB4 last year and it was very helpful.

+1 with Mojo as good tools and a weight scale combined with XRAY's supreme illustrated instructions and race kits is a recipe for a very smooth and fun build.

I hope this is correct as I ran them as upgrade parts in my 15 and the were excellent.

Yes the '16 comes with the harder graphite 2+4 satellite gears

Go easy...

Basher question....

Can we put a 1/8 ESC in there with a sadlle pack configuration?

Anyone could tell me the lenght/with and high to the center brace to chassis of the xb4?

Only reason is to run a special "weird" 6s system in there... no racing or jumpin here!

Thank you for confirming Bentka, much appreciated.

This is good news as it saves me some $. I upgraded the F/R and Center diffs in my 15 with the 2+ 4 graphite gears and really loved how quiet, smooth and efficient they worked. I even notice lower motor temps.
I did combine the aluminum diff pins with this upgrade which I believe helped as well.

Thanks again Bentka

Default Chassis Braces on 2015

Any more reviews using the 361168 chassis braces (shorty battery) and 361173 front upper deck?

On what surface and with which chassis ?

This is what we ran at the EUROS on medium grip clay and her XB4 was awesome.

http://forum.teamxray.com/xform/inde...setup=xb4_2015

2mm stock chassis with carbon stiffeners for the chassis braces and only the front steering brace (no top decks or 361173).

Ok, so what is the space in mm's on the esc space?

I need around 58mm X 40mm X 38mm. Does it have that space?

A normal 1/10 ESc is 39mm x 31mm x 19mm

Not worried about motor or baterys, just worried about ESC Space. Any help?

You could prob fit an rx8 in it with out the plastic housing on it. You will likely blow up the internal gears in your car running 6s but im sure it will be a blast.

Tekin RX8 is a 38 x 55.8 x 25.5mm size. Guess all are around this...

What's the space on the ESC side, then? I would like to know before i jump to a buy in a roller! I know there is the Castle Cremations MMP ESC that will handle 6s, but it's a 60 amp crematory esc...

For a '13 or '14 car running saddle packs you will just barely have the space needed for a RX8 or similar size ESC even when using a LP servo.

With a Futaba LP servo that I have here you will have 2-3 mm to spare…..but it will fit

As for the height you will have to run it without the fan and cut away the cage for the fan as well.

Good luck with the speed runs……
