Middle hole no shims. By the way the front shock droop measurement should be 20.5mm. Sorry about that. I was trying so many things to get it to fit that when i filled the whole thing out again i was really burned out. I been super sick and beleive it or not just looking at a computer screen has been making me sick to my stomach and tired. Hope it works well for who ever tries it

Three rb6s made the A at our local toys for tots race today. 1st 2nd and 5th(me) all three of us are running completely different setups and all three seem to fit each of us better than our previous cars. Rb5s and b4.1s. Very pleased with my car. Also I tried the avid pistons today after the races and they felt very plush on the track. I ran the 4x1.3s with 37.5 front 32.5 rear and was very pleased. I also ran red front springs and yellow rears which was definitely a better choice for our track than the white/ red or gold I was previously running.

I just made the jump from b4.1 WC to rb6,I've been building it today and I've tore the tranny apart 3 times cause it feels like a tight spot that I can not figure out? Any suggestions?

I went through the exact same thing myself. To be honest I gave up trying to figure it out and went ahead and ran a pack through the car and checked it out afterwards and was smooth as butter.

the tranny gear mesh is tight. check for dirt or gunk in the gears. i would literally run a pick or the back side of an exacto inbetween every gear to make sure nothing is making the "tight" spot.

this has happened to me before and 100% it was because i had something in the gears.

Try loosening the screws that hold your transmission case together. Mine was alittle stiff in one spot and loosening the screws holding the transmission case together solved it.

Anyone got their Avid topshaft and slipper working. Those who ordered earlier this week should have them by now. Mine is still in the package and will be installed soon. Just wondering who got theirs done and got it running.
