Thanks for your help..
do you want to run 2s packs or more? try the 550 size motors paired with the rx8, like the tekin sc4x or the Novak ballistic. 4.5t or 5.5t if 7.4v is used. the 1/8th motors work well with high voltage battery packs since they are 1800-2200KV or so. I'm not sure if they (1/8th motors) fit well though.

I should have looked at the track saturday but is your gearmesh tight? the spur should rock a bit on the pinion. It will also feel like the truck has alot of drag brake in it if its too tight.

Chad

Tower works better for me. Plus, I am a member...

Truggy
Servo
Servo Horn
Misc Hex Nuts for wheels (to make $300)
Misc clips (to make $300)
Spray paint

All would come to $249 after my $50 rebate. No shipping/no sales tax...and I would get Friday if ordered today. Much better for me.

Gear mesh is good. Got that 6.5T Xcelorin combo set yesterday, I was hoping came Saturday. Have it installed and running it with the 13t pinion, ran it up and down the street a bit and through the grass, Hit 155 F. GOnna try it out on Saturday. Seems to have comparable power to the 5700kv CC plus it is sensored.
