I'm installing a servo and I only have 2 bolts for the servo mount...can I get away with only using two instead of 4? The servo is a KO HC RSX if that matters.

If I "had" to I would install the top two screws. But screw assortment should be a staple in any rc racers toolbox. :http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXBJSC&P=SM or http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...FUyk4AodHmkAQg

I don't disagree with you but this was a used kit and I'm still figuring out what I'm missing.

Outdoor offroad tires, always ask your local fast guys.. But you cant go wrong with a set of Proline M3 holeshots and 4 ribs.. Also, before you invest in tires / wheels. ask yourself if you want to use B4 or Durango rear wheel 12mm or 14mm hex??

Hey Tamak,

Thanks, already got the RDRP steering link, would it just be best to replace the stock towers with the carbon option? or for outdoor dirt purposes would the stock plastic be best because of slight flex, as far as the tire/wheel options, what are the benefits of switching to the B4.
this is my first buggy so still learning. slightly diffrerent from the SC truck.
Thanks once again.

My 210 has a CF rear tower, I'm still working to get it wired up. The tower doesn't have a hole for running wiring. Can I just have the wires running over the top of the tower or will it potentially rub? Would I just be better off wiring between the shock and the tower??

When in doubt, do what Jorn Neumann does... push it to the side, between the shocks and towers. Like so...

my buggy has a rear shocktower that is the same style(no hole). I ran my wires between the tower and shocks and have never had a issue.

I run my wires through the shock tower. The body definitely fits better if you don't do that though. I'll probably go back to the side when I change my motor.

I just picked up a used one of these.

What is a good gear ratio for 13.5 blinky?
Also, what is a good , but not too expensive motor? I see a speed passion at amain for $49.99. I have run a mod hobbywing in my associated 4wd sc and it was a great motor. Are these good or was I just lucky.

thanks.

Speed Passion makes great stuff. You want to pick up some smaller spurs like 72-75 to gear that motor.

I have the plus 11 mm, chassis. there is no droop screw lugs, so the rear arms droop down a long way.
Rear drive shafts keep popping out.
Is there a quik fix for this.
Only thing i can think of is to put limiter's inside the rear shocks.
Any advice will be appreciated

Yep quickest solution is the limiter inside shocks...then order the droop screws that go in the arms. They will make droop setting quick and easy.

You can place shims (limiters) on the shock shaft (inside the shock body) to limit down travel (between the piston and bottom of the shock body). You may be able to screw the lower eye further in which will also limit shock length.

That's actually the only solution. The RDRP chassis doesn't have droop tabs.

Get the long outdrives if you dont want to put limiters inside the dampers
