JConcepts is waiting for Durango to finalize their testing with the +8... I asked my team manager. Until then we'll just have to be patient.

What's the weight difference between stock chassis setup and rtr chassis?

Euro and US factory guys are still running prototype alum chassis. Why jump in when that could change?

Hey symmetricon, any chassis you weighed them before you installed them would like to know the weight gains. I still run my plastic towers since I dislike how carbon fiber looks, but those aluminium ones sure do look nice.

I always drove 4x4. last year I played wit a losi 22 for 3 months.
This year I bought a dex and competed for the first time in the 2wd mod buggy championship.
I became third in the championship. It proves me that this dex is an easy to drive car.

next year I will compete again but with a dimec +8mm chassis in mod buggy and I will compete 2wd SC with my desc210r. and skip 4x4 completely.

As long as they look close to the original TD body non of that cab forward stuff for me I understand that the cab forward may have some aero advantages I just really like the looks of the old body. I wish TD would make a DIMEC non-+8 chassis so I could shave some weight and keep my curant body

I did not weigh them, but on amain their weight is listed as being 7 grams heavier for the front and 9 grams heavier for the rear towers over the stock shock towers.

Aluminum shock towers are a very bad I idea, I'd think.

I recently broke my first plastic shock tower on a pretty harmless looking flip.

I would suspect that the aluminum towers would bend REAL easy and then your shock setup is out the window.

That's why I'm moving to the CF ones. If you don't like the look, paint them. But they have the strength and they don't bend!

Looking for some more steering on my 210, running blinky. I just installed the brass front bulkhead, and it seemed to help, but it still seems to push in the corners. Im running RM3, barcodes in the back, scrubs in the front. full stick packs, no shorties. cant seem to cut those corners... more weight in the front?

whats the overall setup?

less toe-in in the rear?

Check out the HUDY Offroad Manual. You can find it to download in PDF and has been a really good read for me to understand how small things can affect the handling.
