I am doing a project that will convert my Jammin SCRT10 to look like an 8th scale buggy. I have nearly everything ready and will be using 8th scale buggy wheels and tires. Is there a JConcepts wheel that has more offset? Is the offset for 8th scale common? I am at 285mm with SCT tires and wheels and would like to maximize the width if possible. I prefer JConcepst tires and wheels but would consider a wheel that has a larger offset.

Paul, What wings were you guys using this past weekend? I notice they were not totally clear like lexan wings usually are. Is that how they come or did you do something to make them like that?

BTW Great job by all of you this weekend. Im so glad we all got to race despite the weather.

Some people take scotchbrite to there wings to give them a "frosted" look. Maybe this is what they did.

Im trying to learn more about using different types of foams. What conditions would call for a firm foam and which would call for a softer foam?

I would have to say inside high bite or outside high bite blue groove = closed cell.
Loose, loom, lots of dust = stock foams
