Default Thanks!

First off,

thanks goes out to everyone who made this weekend a success! That includes the volunteers and club members who helped with setup and teardown, and to the racers who braved the elements to come spend the weekend with us. I hope you all had a great time.

If I could have your attention for one last minute -

Someone in their haste packed up and left with one of the club transponders - black #3. Please PM me when you realize you have it, so we can make arrangements to get it returned.

thanks again, and hope to see you at the next race in Victoria!

Thanks to all the racers that traveled from far and wide to our WCICS race.
Andy has video of all the mains and is trying to figure out how to edit and upload them to Youtube.

Just wanted to say a big thanks to Karz and everyone who put in the huge effort to make it what it was. All the way from the Venue to Track Layout, RD, and Tech.

Also it was weird but even though I was sitting in the hallway I ended up watching more racing than I usually did.

it was great to see how many people travelled from other places.

Great weekend!

Thanks to the Karz group for a well run event and especially Diane for RD'ing.

Pit spaces were a bit cozier than I'm use to but definitely enjoyed the company of all my fellow racers around me!

Also, always nice to catch up with old friends and make new ones in our little RC community.

Looking forward to next year's race already!

Default Successful feelings

GREAT weekend in Airdie for the snowpocalypse event.
Id like to send a thank you to everyone involved in the planing and execution of this race weekend event. It clearly shows how much thought work and procedures goes into a 100+ entry event. As an out of towner I had a smile on my face the whole 8 hour drive home because of how awesome I felt to be a participant in your trophy race. I will be back and im sure the KRCC crew feels the same. KOODO's to the Karz club.
Stoked for Victoria.

Thanks Karz, Diane, volunteers and racers for a fun weekend.

Now to throw fuel on the fire..........
Wayne the mini guru.......damn fast

mini A main
Wayne avg lap 10.5
Andy avg lap 10.92
Josh avg lap 11.12
Ivan avg lap 11.24

In no way will I ever find 1.2 seconds in my mini with me driving, damn Wayne your mini is as fast as my 17.5 TC.
Time to take the bet Wayne, Your mini VS me with my TC for $20.

I was watching the A level guys intently all weekend. It was really interesting. Wayne looked (and was) very fast. It was all about the driving lines and insanely fast reaction times. Wayne's corner entry technique was similar to mine, but much, much better. Ivan, Josh and some others were pretty fast, but looked less stable by comparison, with twitchy lines.

Also interesting was watching TC Mod. Wow! Seeing our top drivers actually struggling was an experience. The usual robot like control was replaced by caffeinated driving jitters. Fun!
