Diffs looked OK, but the ring gear screws seemed not to be torqued up enough. Mystery - but my guess is that the Sts 30 may not be good to plastic diff cases. Note no trace of diff oil remained.

Getting the 23mm Hex's off the axles after 15 years was a bit of a mission. So on reassembly, I made sure to use copper grease between the alloy hex and steel axle.
