I draw the line with offroad and foams. I wont run foam tire offroad. At some point it seems offroad is being turned into ill handeling touring cars with jumps.
Rick Vessell and Teamrule like this.

I ran my stadium truck on grey carpet a couple of weeks ago on panther slicks and it drove really well. I'm sure it will feel equally at home on the black carpet.

Yes, but just imagine how cheap it can be when you put some longer shocks on your TT01 euro truck and hit the jumps. Same car for onroad and offroad ;-)

Lol ya thats a funny thought. I know alot of people like offroad foam tires just not my cup of tea. I tried it years ago and didnt really care for it. Carpet tracks that run foam typically have issues running rubber tires. Seems the foam dust makes the track marble like for the rubber tires. Vacuuming can help but it doesn't get it all out. With black carpet I see no reason to run foam tires. Rubber tires will last longer than the foam inserts and foam tires are consumable. Foam tires are much harder on the drive trains plus you have to deal with a dirty car from all the foam dust getting EVERYWHERE.

I've got a TT02b, and with a 13.5, the thing wants to gernade every time I take it on the carpet. It survives on dirt, but drivetrain forces eat the diffs on carpet...

Good to know, I had a sick Idea of trying to run a TT02B in mod 4wd just to see what would happen.

Windy City,
Do you have the motor and tires in for the 21.5 TC spec class? If so, what are the prices? thank you.

I think the motor is like 50 or so. They always have them in stock. Not sure on tires

With the size of the new track, you will be needing an FDR of about 3.00
