Thursday night, some track prep and clean up, test and tune say 6:30 ish. We need ideas for the infield, we are going to make the track a little longer, use more of the banking more less. I'm thinking maybe putting down some green astro turf for corners, and like 3 discs? The more the better, come on out, let's get this season started, we need to run the track in, do some shaving, and rolling. The track has been tilled up scraped and rolled, just need some TLC. The big bumps are gone, now we have to make it fast!

get some construction flags, they use them in road work.....blue top or red tops....ask yoder, he will know what i am talking about....

just mark your radius point, and know what your radius is....and stik them in the dirt....you can pull them when your done.. and reuse them

Good idea Mitch. Average $0.50 a square foot.

Need a way to secure the edges though.

First thing that comes to mind is to just bury that edge of the carpeting in the dirt? But that's pretty permanent and you couldn't aerate that area or roll it.

We did some more work on track tonight. I was able to run a few laps with a 13.5 foam car. Ran pretty good even tried spec tires, not bad at all for just throwing them on after being set up for silver. The track is much smoother. When we were all done Dalton airerated and watered. Now we just need some cars to run in a grove so we can scrape and flatten even more.

There was talk about some practice, not sure about racing. I think officially it starts next weekend? Perhaps Ryan can chime in.
