Good racing!!
Good racing everyone!! Season points are updated and hopefully everyone can make it out on the 12th, minus the guys going to the national race...good luck Pete and Rich!!
Final night will be a pizza night on the 26th of April, then get ready for outdoor somewhere...

Where can the points be seen, is there a website?

HOT LAPS - BANZAI
Hey Eric =
Doesn't THIS sound like fun - - -
Only foreseeable issue(s) =
It might not work out too well with tight and uber technical courses . . .
Deciding where the driver's actually stand...
AND
Can your lap timer stand the strain...

Eric might do it slightly different than this, but...
You are going to get 1 flying lap, if I remember correctly. That will seed the cars in order for the 1st full qualifying heats.
When we have run it before, its pretty much like NASCAR qualifying but fewer hot laps. It will go something like this: get on, trip the loop for your warm up lap and take the green flag next time through the loop. Complete your hot lap and the next car starts its warm up lap as you pull off. We'll cycle the drivers on the stand as well. 1 driver up at a time. Adds to the tension.
We also encourage everyone to stand around the track to watch. I haven't participated before (just helped Eric run it), but folks tell me it can be quite stressful.

Have you guys noticed that Speed Passion is having a sale when you purchase directly from their web site? It made me think of the guys here that are still running black can Tamiya motors that might want to try brushless. You can get a V3 Competition 21.5 motor and a Cirtix Stock Club ESC for $86 plus shipping which would still land under $100 for the complete setup. Just an FYI if anyone is interested.

No experience with the motor though and you have to wait for it to fly to you from Hong Kong. But hey, it's still a great deal and you get a free fan with it.
