BS! END OF STORY!
track died cuz lack of care given to it!!! I know ive talked to MOST of the people that raced last year and they told me flat out the track was crap huge inchwide cracks dont make for good racing if it was watered daily THEN it would not have got as $hity as it did ( not my opinion) but thats what they said, not gonna names but TRUST me! i my self made the jump to sedans cuz i was dissapointed with the decision for the oval *NOT bashing hobbytown bob or bill* but that track could have made it with water and more care* and why the hell is it getting watered EVERYday for now? that could have helped so much last year and start of this year,Gimme a break, you walk in there look at the offroad track and it lookes like no one had raced on it for years because of the condition it was in, cracks EVERYWHERE. the challenge course on the outside of the oval, WTF is that, 2 foot wide lanes? no room to pass another truck.
Conclusion.......Track didn't just die out LACK of water and care killed it! END OF STORY!!!!
P.S IM not gonna get into the Hootie Poopers that killed itI'll leave that to someone else!

Not to get on anyone's case but see my previous post on carpet gearbox. They didn't kill the track, where do you come up with that?
When the decision to move the night and change the layout there were opportunities for people to voice their oppinions and volunteer time and ideas.

Are you volunteering your time and services then? That is what it would take to keep things the way they need to be: a maintenance person. Bill and whomever else volunteers can only do so much. That and people's schedule change. If you want it better, then roll up your sleeves and have at it!

Yes Shawn, last year was a learning curve for the dirt.
And next year will be better yet, as we get the handling of dirt kept indoors better under control.
As far as the layout style, we did what we wanted to play on as no one else put up suggestions.
So, calm down some. I remember you saying you would spear head this program and then didn't show for 2 months.
But next year, when we make the call for input, say something then, not afterwards. What is will be for the end of this year. We are starting to lay the groundwork for the outdoor track (which also needs some heavy attention). Anybody notice we also totally remodeled a 25,000 square foot store, moved the main store AND started a new store in Appleton. This new portion of the racing options is just that, a small portion. But come late summer, when its time to set up for October, be ready with constructive input and help.

im not pissed or mad for that matter, i just hate it when people say it died on its own, there was help cause if that track was cared for it'd be cool, hopefully if the problems get fixxed next year i'll pull my truck back out, and i DID/DO want to help run the program, its an awesome facility and i had lots of fun racing on the dirt
