July 3rd Racing
Anyone know for sure that Leisure will be open July 3rd? If so, will it be an electric only day?
Looking to race USGT if anyone else is interested... 21.5 motor, ROAR spec blinky mode speedo, TC chassis, GT body, any treaded non-belted tire pretty much sums up the rules. My two visits out this year I've had a car ready to go for this class. Just looking for someone to race with. I will have it with me July 3rd if there is racing that day. Just worried about the Independence Day holiday.

Hey Stogie...I hope you can make it.....I talked to Paul and if he's free, he said he would maybe be able to make it too!!!
Hope everyone can make it ......it will a blast as usual at Leisure Hours. They done some work to the track too...made it look sweet for the Byron's Race going on this weekend
P.S. Don't forget...the Air conditioning will be nice too!!

How many guy got a chance to see the mains at the Byron's Race Sunday? I got out there Sat. for some of the qualifying...awesome time. The number of pros there was up from last year.....and they all were talking about coming back next yr and bringing some friends. I just may beg, borrow and steal to get another car for that race!

I agree it should be a great weekend, I'll check with Scott tomorrow to see if we would allow us to run a few nitro's preferably mine since I need to break in my motor!!!! oh ya Xray RX8 Nitro Baby!!!

Hi Beemer...I just talked to Scott and yes there will be on-road electric racing Sunday July 3rd. I'm not sure how many USGT cars will be there...maybe we will here from some of them here. Also Leisure will be having a BBQ Race July 17th. With entry, we will have a cookout....with pulled pork sandwiches and some hot dogs on the grill. It will also be a trophy race too! Don't miss this one! For the off-road guys they will get the same treatment on the 16th. It will be an awesome time....as long as I'm not cooking!!!
