I took a look at the website and am trying to figure out what time the track is open for practice or racing the week of August 24th. I'm now confused. I'd like to bring down my Pro10 and GT8 and run some laps just to see them at speed. I'll bring other cars and maybe a couple racers if they are available.
Your best bet is Sunday 23rd. It is the rescheduled Gravity On-Road race. You can run VTA, USGT, 17.5 or Mod TC and F1. Bring your stuff out and try the best Outdoor On-Road track in the Mid-West.

According to the website, you are SOL for the week of the 24th. The On-Road track will be shut down. They are having a 2 day Off Road event on the 28th-30th.

Looking forward to coming up tomorrow.
I have recently calibrated scale I can bring if guys want to make sure they are legal for whatever class that they run if they are getting ready for the Southern Nats.
Not sure if Myron is going to tech the USGT wings or not at the Southern Nats but up at The Gate they do and if its lexan it has to be less than 10mm side dam height and cord too. The huge plastic whale tails from HPI and Tamiya are somehow ok.
I also have a 5mm aluminum rod for checking ride height. It's true diameter is slightly less so if the car is at least 5mm like it is supposed to be then it will pass.
Working on getting a carbon go/no go wing gauge made similar to like what they use up at The Gate for future use.
I switched bodies to a Jag up there because I would not cut my wing on my DP body because it would ruin the scale appearance.

I have a wing gauge made up now with a little bit of tolerance cut in it so that not so perfect wing cuts at 10mm should still pass.
I will have it with me if anyone cares to use it. I am just bringing these items so that guys can choose to use them, I am not in anyway trying to throw the rules at anyone. That is the job of the track.

Great day of racing thanks to Scott and the LHR crew!

24 cars in USGT, mighty impressive. Split into two groups, 14 and 10, for the mains.

Sorry I missed it boys. I had family plans in place before the Gravity RC race was rescheduled to the 23rd.
The website for LHR says no racing for the next two Sundays. Will there be any for later in Sept?

According to Scott, next onroad race (points) will be 9/13. Probably another points race 9/27 to end the series. The June points do not exist (data erased) and will not be counted, so it looks like 5 races with one drop is probable.
Nice day for the Gravity re-run. Great job by the LH staff. Thanks!

Good call on the 6/14 results. As long as they manually re-enter all the drivers and finishing positions, they could reconstruct the results and let the program do the points computation. There also seems to be some concern about the fact that there were no TC or Open classes run - to me it sounds like that would have to be one of their drops. Just cuz u don't show up to a points race, doesn't mean everyone who did shouldn't get their points?
What does Mr. Nelson - Keeper of Points think?
