It might have been posted before but can anyone tell me what the suggested/most common starting point for FDR is in VTA on your track?

Something so low that you'll have to buy new pinions and spur gears, and never use them anywhere else

(somewhere around 3.0)

Depends a little on your setup, motor and timing. Some run as low as 2.8 FDR when the full straight is used but I've never been able to get anything that low to work. Last time out at the BBQ race I ran USVTA rules with a Novak Boss motor timed at 45 degrees. I tried a few FDRs from 3.16 to 3.27. My peak RPM as reported by the Tekin software never really changed from about 11,400 max, but the car seemed fastest at around 3.19 FDR. The layout used the shortest possible straight though with no sweeper at the end.

Points day on Sunday, correct? I still don't see one of those virtual flyers on the LHR website... so I've kind of lost track of the dates for the series.

Like 6 different options for racing this weekend so trying to decide.
