It seems logical that version 208 software should be allowed in the easy to tech "spec" mode which has no timing at all. The problem is, the rules don't take into account the new software release. I think for everyone's benefit it should be clear whether the new 208 software is or is not allowed.
If you want to run "0" timing software that is perfectly fine, but guaranteed to be slower than the rest of the racers running 10 degree's timing.

I dont know if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but what is going to be the rule set for VTA in the final round of AA(Sept 11)? Will it be the current ones or the Septermber 1st switch?

We are going to finish out the series under the current rules. Next year's series will be run under the new rules.

Thanks

Just go to Strictly, you'll be happier! LHR is still set-up for nitro cars and is too big for TA right now. I live 10-15 min from LHR and I'm still going to Norridge, where I know I'll be racing and not waiting for more people to show!

FYI Racers. Leisure Hours will be running all day practice on the actual Asphalt Assault Lay out Saturday August 14th. This will be the best day to dial your cars in for the racing on the 15th! Actual electric only lay out and a properly prepped track!

Default Money Race?????

How would all of our racers feel about a money race at Strictly next weekend? I am thinking of putting one together for next weekend(Sunday 8th) and would like to see what you all think.

My thought are $20 for 1st class, $15 for second and a percentage paid back to the winner of each class and so on. The bigger the class, more to pay out! We can even spread it around. Top 3, top5,etc.

Let me know!

Default A.A. Practice on the 14th

Racer's,

Saturday's practice for the A.A. @ Leisure hours will be not included with your entry fee on Sunday. The practice fee will be $10 for the day. Scott assured me that he will have the track prepped and in tip top shape for both day's!

Schedule as follows:

Saturday 8/14- open practice from 11-6p.m. ($10 Practice fee)
Sunday 8/15- Doors open @ 8 A.M.
8/15- Open practice from 8-11 A.M.
8/15- track closed for driver's meeting.
8/15- 1st round of qualifying starts at 11:30 sharp!

Any questions. Please let me know.

Thanks

I like the money race, but I must say that I will be "blacked out" in my gear with my .308 (Leupold opticts) sitting sniping out the top guys...uh hum Heinrich your new Tamiya would look especially good with a lead mushroom in the motor
