2010 Asphalt Assault Race Series
#406
Pardon me for quoting myself, but I should have made it clear in this post that I'm referring to spec classes including RCGT and USVTA. The current rules for the Tekin RS series require a maximum of version 200 software with 10 degrees of timing and no turbo or boost. It seems logical that version 208 software should be allowed in the easy to tech "spec" mode which has no timing at all. The problem is, the rules don't take into account the new software release. I think for everyone's benefit it should be clear whether the new 208 software is or is not allowed.

I dont know if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but what is going to be the rule set for VTA in the final round of AA(Sept 11)? Will it be the current ones or the Septermber 1st switch?

lets get running at LHR. bring out those TA's and sedans ,f1 and rcgt out and lets get some racing in. get ready for AA3. Bring them out..no worry about rain, a/c in the pits.

Just go to Strictly, you'll be happier! LHR is still set-up for nitro cars and is too big for TA right now. I live 10-15 min from LHR and I'm still going to Norridge, where I know I'll be racing and not waiting for more people to show!

Money Race?????
How would all of our racers feel about a money race at Strictly next weekend? I am thinking of putting one together for next weekend(Sunday 8th) and would like to see what you all think.
My thought are $20 for 1st class, $15 for second and a percentage paid back to the winner of each class and so on. The bigger the class, more to pay out! We can even spread it around. Top 3, top5,etc.
Let me know!

I like the money race, but I must say that I will be "blacked out" in my gear with my .308 (Leupold opticts) sitting sniping out the top guys...uh hum Heinrich your new Tamiya would look especially good with a lead mushroom in the motor
