You may run the RCGT body in sedan with the Solaris spec tire. Super stock will not be offered as a points class, but if there is enough interest we may run as a Non-point's class. ROAR dropped super stock across the board for many reason. Some being that they are about as fast as open modified and the classes were getting to diluted.

Yeah, I don't think there is much difference between a silver can, a 27t or a 21.5 but then you introduce Tekin voodoo into the mix (think KERS) 19t was a good speed @ LH last year and they are cheap and I can still use a brushed QC3 that I bought off a "factory guy" (that crapped out on me @ TCS).
Also, are we going to use the rubber tires for F1? My car went through front foams like they were made of tissue. LMK

Brian

Are those Solaris tires available unmounted ? so we could still use
the spoke style wheels in RCGT ?

Hi Bob,

Just wanted to offer something new for outdoors. There will be speed control restrictions similar to VTA in this class.

Hi Marcus,

They are coming on a spoke wheel from Solaris and they are pre-glued.

Not to familar with the car, but judging by the pic's I would think it would be OK. It is a open mini class

So are most of the mini's Tamiya M-chassis? The Cup Racer is 4wd, aren't the Tamiya cars 2wd? Are you sure no one would be opposed to the Cup Racer?

Sorry, didnt realize that the cup racer was 4wd so it will not be legal. Unless you have a way to make it a 2wd drive car. We will be using Most of the Tamiya mini class rules including motor rules, but if you have a different chassis show me it and I will make a decision.

I have a couple of 4WD minis that I would like to race as well - a Fujin 211Go and an Atlas Beat. I know of a bunch of people who still have RS4 Minis and ABC Genetics (both also 4WD) that would like to have a place to go race their minis since most club races don't have a 4WD mini class. Even if it is a non-points class, can we run them at AA if there is enough interest?

Brian
Not sure if this will be a good move or not.
I think you'll find that just about all the F1 folk are running the current Silver can.
I'll set up the car to whatever the rules turn out to be, but it's just another expense to those that have these F1's already.
