Looks to me like the rain will be done early in the morning. The track is fully prepared and drains very well. Lights are up and operational. Going to be a great event.

Track opens at noon and qualifying heats start at 3pm. Go to www.marcca.com for directions to the track. Bring your slash and run under the lights......

A pre-emptive "thank you" to all of those involved. Without the hard work of yourselves this event would not be taking place. You know who you are, and I am glad to be part of such a great club as MARCCA.

Hello racers,
I am more than impressed on how nicely lit up The Rockpile is with these lights!
The track is in very good condition and I took a few laps and it is a very fun track!

My name is Bob Hommen and I have been race Directing at the Rockpile for the last 2+ years.
We have had much success with larger crowds and I am pretty good at timing things out.
My point is we will start later than 3 if we have a small turnout and adjust so that the last qualifier round starts at 8:30( when the lights get fired up!).
Most of the 3rd round of qualifing and all Mains will be under the lights.

If we get a Huge group then I will start closer to 3p.m.
I will however like to close Registration at 3!
But don't panic if you come later because I can easily enter you on the fly(Thanks Doug Rcscoring Rocks!)
- Just to make it clear, there is no camping Saturday except for the help!
We look forward to a great day-into night of Racing.
