Looks like I will be able to go to the banquet after all. We were suppose to be going out of town this coming weekend but that has changed now. What places are getting trophies? Is it the list you have up that will be getting them? If so, Jordan will be very happy that he will be getting one.

I'm sorry I never got this info up on the website. I've been trying for a while but my computer is just treating me poorly lately. Anyway, yes Tim you and Jordan will both receive trophies based on the first list I posted above.

Default Bristol RC

What is going on for 2009 at Bristol? Will there be racing this year or what? Just look ahead to the Nitro Season.

I have been talking to Scott throughout the fall and winter and he is still not 100% sure what to expect for the 2009 season.

This reminds me though, it's been a couple weeks since we last spoke and I will feel him out to see if he has any ideas for the new year.

I just talked to Scott a few days ago and still no final decision. I'm going to go out on a limb here...I don't see racing at Bristol this year. Keep in mind...this is just a hunch...not the official call. I hope to persuade him to make a final decision before the end of March.

i hope Scott does change his mind. Got Jordan a slash and would like to be able to have him run out there. I think that putting him in that class might help him with his 1/8 driving as they are not as fast. I think having him run the buggy was a little much for him.

The Slash is a great class for kids and adults...newbies and experts. When I first got my Slash I had the same idea...give me some practice running a 2WD vehicle to help me hone my skills with the 8th scales. In the end we got a vehicle that actually handled better than I thought...and there were so many people racing it that it ended up being a really fun class.

Tim, you have a PM

We are actually going out to IA this weekend and they are running a slash class so he is very excited about being able to race. I hope that they have a good turnout of them.

PM back at you.

Hey...not sure how far S&N's in Brookfield is for you to drive...but there are two(2) Saturday Night Series races left in April and they usually get a really healthy turnout of Slash racers for those races. It takes me about 45 minutes from the time I get on the Interstate ( another 10 minutes from my house to the Interstate ) but if you're looking for something to do on a Saturday afternoon / night it might be fun to load up the kid for a few hours.
