They will be split up if there are enough entries for each. Other wise they will be combined. (Nitro main would be 12 minutes) so electric should be able to make that no problem.

Ok I gotta ask...what are the rules of Stock 2WD SC vs Mod 2WD SC?

I won't be down this weekend but hopefully soon (Shawn shipped my truck today ) and I hope to have a handle on what I will be running. Is stock vs mod simply motor size and boost or other mods to the car/truck?

Currently there is really only 2 classes, but just in case we have them broken into

oem ( stock brushed vehicles.
17.5 for those that run that class at events like motorama etc
MOD. Most are here.

keep it simple run mod, tune it down and drive slow. I know guys that can keep up with mod running stock slashes.

let me know if you have any questions

we are doing our best to make it easy and simple.

Ty & I got to track last night just in time to get WET!! I did gather up some lumber (starting to be slim pickings) & got together a railing for handicap stand. Need to get back out & attach/mod, due to putting together @ home on measurements taken from stand. Just typing this out had a brain fart on other way I might of wanted to do it (dang MANIC MIND) Oh well, just trying to make it as safe as possible.

Hope to see everyone Saturday.

Ok so given the XXX-SCT I just bought with the TLR kit...if I put a 17.5 motor in it I assume I'm in that class? Seriously I haven't raced in forever so I forget what you can and can't do to your car/truck before it has to be in the mod class.

My interptration of the Mod vs Stock rule from ROAR is:
Stock is any motor and ESC in a RTR setup from factory
or
17.5 Brushless & All Brushed Motors.

Only other rule for stock that I seen is you have to run a set of tires that are run on an RTR kit... But Team Associated makes that easy they have just about every type of tire on there RTR. (This changes track to track)
Also no 1/8 wheels!

So you can customize the rest of the truck. The ESC, Motor, Tires, and Wheels are the only thing you have to watch.

We've just tried to make it as simple as possible. When SCT first started it was simple. It was box stock and that's it. Now there's so many variations it's hard to group them without splitting them into 5 different classes. A 17.5t with boost in the mod class would do fine here, and in the end it all comes down to the driver.

I think we're all just here to have a good time!! No big money involved, that's when things can go south. Come on down & have a good time with some great racers. Just remember this is just a hobby guys.

Agree no worries even a 17.5 without boost will do fine. Stay on 4 wheels for 8 minutes then worry about horse power. i will separate them once there is more then enough to make the classes.everyone will be happy
