Just saw one in Toso's car. Wow! Just a module that pops in to the bcak of his M8 and a small grey receiver. He explained that you can turn on your radio whenever, it searches for available frequencies. Do you guys know if it should cut down on glitching, or is it just to make channels and crystals obsolete?

I guess this is turning in to a talk that maybe shouldn't be in this "Track" forum. Oh well.

It will lock the receiver to the module so there can't be any interferance from an outside radio and it operates on a higher freq. than what the motors can interfere with as well.

Yeah, hopefully I can put an end to my glitching problems with my Schumacher. I ran it and really started to liek the way it drove; very smooth, but had to shelve it to unresolved glitching.

Hope we can make it next time.

I dont think there will be anymore races till the middle of January. Thats what their site said last time I checked. If its true, are you guys gonna be running at Hobby Town in San Marcos or spending sometime at the Palomar Track?

They usually do take a break after Thanksgiving during the holiday season. It's the busy time in the shop for them so they need to take care of that first. There's going to be some racing up north. La Mirada is haveing their toys for totts on 12/12 and the next weekend is the 2-day race at California speedway with the JGTC.

Hobbytown has zero traction and I don't think Palomar has an on road track or program...

The HPI 2 day race for me too next month.

When I meant Palomar track, I was meaning if any of you guys had some trucks or buggies to also run.

Jon, are you planning on the T4T race? I'd like to make it, hopefully be a better surface than last years concrete, lol

Yeah, that's the only race I'll be in this month. Hobby Central is done until after the first and I found out I can't go to the JGTC race.
