after a few days of thinking, i may owe some of you an apology. in the 2wd and 4x4 b-mains i was so excited to see cameron driving so well i found myself watching him a little more than i should have been instead of marshalling. so to those i may have let sit too long while waiting on me to do my job i apologize. i kinda got caught up in a father moment watching him.

A little bench racing never hurt anyone.

Thats too bad. I like Thumptown when I used to go there. If you all get bored with no track for 10th scale Jerry's RC in Ithaca NY will be racing and we will be running 10th scale short course.

Where does it say they are only running 5th scale...? That can't be true.. there arent enough 5th scale racers in any area to keep a track alive, let alone wellsboro.

Per the owner of the track, Doug !
He said they MIGHT run 10th scale every other weekend on a ungroomed track.

Just curious.. What exactly are your expectations in terms of a turnout for 1/5th scale racing? Not bashing the plan... but if its a profit and large turnout you want... 1/5th scale is the last class you will get that with. People who run these trucks are very few and far between even where I am located (north of new york city (but grew up/family still lives near wellsboro).

I'd hate to see the business at the track "dry up" so to speak.. In an area where rc tracks are rare... a good track should cater to all the popular classes (1/8th scale nitro/electric, short course 2/4wd, and 2wd buggy). By doing this, the turnouts will be large and word of mouth will spread fast which in turn will attract new people to the hobby.

Just my 2 cents.. Best of luck.
