Congrats to all of the winners.
Ryan, you gave one hell of a fight for the second position. I've never had to wheel my 2wd so hard before.
It's looking like my losi will up and running for the 11th, cant wait.
Helen great job with the photos!
This one has to be my favorite one of my truck

Hello folks. First post here because I signed up to the forum when I found this thread in a google search. That being said..

My name is Zack and I own a hardly-run 4x4 Slash. I've met and talked with Doug a few times, bought a few batteries and a charger and aluminum carriers from him (thanks for the schooling on batteries by the way!). I really need to try and make it out sometime and meet some of you guys and put my truck on a track. It's all stock, running 3300mah NiMh packs. I've never raced, let alone run on a track. Maybe if I make it out next weekend (the 10th and 11th, right?) it will give me an excuse to finally finish wiring up my JConcepts Dare body for some night action.

So, what exactly entails 'spec' class?

SPEC class means all stock class. Some upgrades are allowed but it has to have the stock motor and esc if its electric and stock motor if it is nitro.

I guess that would count me in for SPEC class then, all stock (velineon and 3300mah nimh) minus aluminum rear carriers and LED's to keep it going all through the night

I beleave he's reffering to the spec 2wd sct class.
Most tracks are allowing most upgrades that have no change in preformance, only in reliability, such as rpm parts.
You'd probably be in the mod class with the rest of the 4x4s.

Happy 4th guys, can't wait to get up there and race!

I'll just worry 'bout what class I'm in when the time gets here then

Could always just take out the driveshaft and make 2wd...
