Why all the bickering about rules.
The rules for SCT are fine. Ever hear the saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." I ran the Slash spec with one of the rentals and loved it, so why change it. Why not just work on your setup and just race.
Yes, I'm new to offroad side of racing, I planned on buying a Slas,h but after Hearing all this stuff, IDK I may stick to just running dirt oval.....

All this season (and last) Chris has had a very good set of rules and very good local support for this class as well as some who travel great distances to race under these rules because of the turnout.
I for one do not want to spend more for a brushless setup than the total cost of the truck to race it. This is what mod trucks are for.
I have had my stock motor in both my trucks for at least a 1.5 years and they still work fine.
So instead of creating another class read the rules and come play.

Watched a little bit of the live feed last night. The new track layout looks awesome. Seems to be the most challenging to date just b/c of the back section. Looks really fun!!

Why do you need to spend more money on a BL system??? IT IS SLOWER THAN BRUSHED!!! So why would you buy it to run MOD? or Run another class?? You could Run your stock electronics, and Buy tires that will give you more advantage than a ESC/Motor.
We Can go on and on on the subject. The rules are the rules as you see, and we will never compromise or figure out something so ALL RACERS can have fun.
Ill be racing Stock Spec, Why because it is not my main thing, I just bring the truck to run another class. I dont even repair, replace, or work on the thing. I throw a battery in it and race. Seems like the guys who got there shit straight and race only SC, want this. I have tryed many times to get each place to run Roar rules, but they stay with there own track rules. Now you see why shit not set in stone gets abused.

well i grabbed my son's slash, I bought a New buggy and left the oval cars and home and went to bumps last nite! I havent had that much fun in years! Thanks guys for supporting that venture of mine and Thanks Chris for doing what you do! I look forward to the race next week!
