New Huge outdoor offroad coming to Elkland, PA! april 2009
A new HUGE offroad outdoor track is being built.
It's located at Miles Mountain Motorcross on rt 49 in elkland pa.
Miles mountain is a huge motorcross facility, who is now adding a huge R/C track. the pad is already in, and plans are big, with full support.
35'x8' drivers stand.
a/c power at track side.

We have shut down our track and have shifted our effords into helping with the new place.

yeah i remeber you, good to hear from ya! how ya been?
This place is going to be great, the pad is all in and ready (over $15,000 in dirt) yes, unreal i know. Just waiting on slightly warmer weather to break , then construction on the track, the drivers stand, and pit lane all begin. btw, the track is going to be alot like "The Nitro Pit" in AZ.
Miles mountain has it's own top soil qwaury so the perfect track dirt is endless. it's a realy nice blead of great top soil, a hint of sand, and clay. we have done a little testing of the soil and I beleave it is going to have great bite. We already have a huge tank for trackside with a huge pump and fire sized hose, to keep things in control, all of which can be filled at anytime with the on site tanker truck.
There are 2 bulldozers, several loaders, dumptrucks, the list just goes on, the possibilitys are realy endless, these guys are pro's at building national event holding mx and supermoto tracks at there facility and im very happy to be a part of bringing r/c to this great place.
By the way, with the new rt 15, it's only like 50 min's from williamsport, racing is going to be on sundays, with atleast one other day that will be open.
So this wont be a conflict with the new track going in in richfield, which i am looking very forward to checking out myself.

track build finaly a go!
After a long muddy end to winter, the track build is now underway! pad has been finished, and we are planning to have a track build day (heavy eqwipment) this coming saturday the 25th. we will be starting things around 9:00 am
Anyone that can come please do, as we would love to hear your ideas for the layout, as you know the track is being modeled like the nitro pit, but there realy is no limit when it comes to building the track! so please come on up and check out the layout and bring your ideas!
