Matt, Gearing for pan cars can vary between motor brands. I'm running with 64p 26t pinion and a 115t spur with tires at 56mm on a CO27 if that helps.

This Friday the oval should have 4' wide corners. Its not a huge increase, but it will feel a bit different.
ed,
yea that helps a little bit.i am going to have to measure those foam tires that are on there and go from there.but as of last friday when i left the car was all put together and i am planning on running it friday night there.i still have to swap out a couple of 4 cell batts before then though.
but i am gonna try and race it and we will just have to wait and see what happens from there...hopefully i can find the horsepower that i need and then go from there.

talk to you all later

It's stories like that reminds us all why F1 needs Schumi back!

But I've heard of people going even greater distances for a new pet - Huh Jum?

And a little off topic D4Man, but I saw your post in the T4 forum about gearing for 13.5 motors and we're finding out the same holds true for touring cars. I went from a 24T pinion with a 19T motor last year to a 32T with a 13.5 this year. Gear em up if you got em.

Boy it's dead in here, who all is planning on racing Friday night?

I did not realize that the Corally F1 cars were 1/12 scale.....definately NOT interested. I have a big enough problem working on 1/10 scale stuff! Plus I personally thought that those cars last year were nothing but a pain in the ASS! Plaid, Magenta,Triple Pink on Red, Quadruple White with a slice of lemmon tires can all go to HELL!!!

I think things have been slow because the forum has been a little bit unreliable the last day or so. Nevertheless, I'll be in for some oval racing Friday.

We made some adjustments to the oval track and the corners are going to be abotu 2-3 feet wider than they used to be.
