Congrads on the touring car win Brian/Wyd. I glad you made the trip and raised the bar for the rest of us. That was an awesome run (30 laps) you put down in the main.
And congrads to Chuck 'the Assassin' Meyers who's Oval Pan car was just killer out there Friday en-route to winning the AMain with a rediculous 59 lap performance.
This is getting tough - So far the winners are running more laps than the week before. Where will it all stop? How much faster can we go? How many laps will it take next week?
I Guess we'll find out next Friday!

Ed thanks for the props I appreciate that.
Ok I would like to thank all the owners and racers at Altoona Raceway for making me and my buddy Donnie feel so welcome. Everyone is super nice and made us feel right at home. One of the nicest group of people around so anyone looking to try out a new race facility you should give it a try. They have plenty of room to grow and as they run the races will continue to get even better.
Racing was tough for me running against so many brushless and lipo powered cars vs stock motor and 4200's. Also running 6 minutes was actually new to me for touring but it was cool. It made me drive consistantly and have my car working well to stay ahead of the others. Took some doing and changes on my car to do so.
Rubber tire touring car racing is fun and makes you really drive your car at all times. If all works out I will try to be back again next Friday with what I hope are a few changes to make the car handle better because it needs to be against those fast brushless systems and lipos.
The more you guys run and the more people show the better and faster the track will become. It takes time to season in a track and figure out what works each weekend.
Thanks again to everyone. It was nice meeting all of you guys.
Oh and Matt that was a wicked peel you did to your buddy Jeff. Hope he made you walk home.
