There is a carpet track in Tyler, but sadly, it's two hours drive for me from Fort Worth. They race TC, Buggy etc. They just move the jumps out of the way for TC. Nice track, good people. Wish it was closer to FW.

I hope it works out, I've been itching to come down to run there, but right now it's not financially possible(I'm unemployed right now, can't really afford to do ANYTHING out of town right now), I absolutely want to make it down once I've got some income again....

The day was saved at the 11th hour and the track and shop are staying! We had a great night of racing last night and for the first time in a long time, there was a super full race schedule. So much so that we had to only run two qualifiers and the mains or we would have never been out of there! Great to see everyone there and welcome to all the new people that have made it.

That's awesome to hear! I hope to make it up there worn the next few weeks to get my new (to me) X12 dialed in before the EOS opener.

I can't wait to try it out, I've never carpet raced before but I turned my old B5M into a 17.5 carpet car just for this track. Hopefully they'll get more tires in stock by Wednesday as I have 0 slicks.

slodsm, it's great. I'm not a big fan of 17.5 (at all) but it was damn good fun. Some people were going (very) fast and i'm not prepared to shell out that much cash! the night of the 17th was pretty popular, i think the word is spreading. Now if we just had something more Fort Worth area...everything seems to be over Dallas way.
