ROCCK’s 2016-2017 Winter race season is quickly approaching and that means it’s time to have our annual club kickoff meeting. We'll meet this Thursday 9/22 at the Pavilion at 6:30pm.
This is your opportunity to vote on upcoming plans for the coming year. Everyone is welcome.
Agenda will be:
- Nominate and vote for a new club president: Glen Gioia is stepping down to focus on his health.
- Discuss Chilhowee contract: Tentative build date is Saturday October 1st.
- Financial review: A vision for the future.
- Establish a race schedule and possible points series through the end of March.
- Discuss new race day format: Qualifiers now matter.
- Discuss our new track maintenance plan: Our new build will be different from any of our previous builds and to ensure it remains awesome we must implement a new maintenance plan.
- Discuss plans for our big races (Run for the Riches IV, 3rd annual A Race to Remember, and 3rd annual Tennessee State Championship) and vote on possibly adding an additional big race.
- Discuss a new membership drive.
- Club members review: How you can help.
