Curtis Schlaht :

hi... i really liked your Ti3 motors (UL arm), and would like to know your opinion, as to how the check point is as compared to it... would you recommend going down a turn (since the checkpoint produces more RPM) just like the V2 motors to get the same power? thanks - jason

The CP motors do indeed produce more RPM than the Ti3’s, but not enough to go up a wind and still maintain the overall performance you had while running a lower wind Ti3. If you were using a UL Ti3 a Checkpoint motor of the same wind would a suitable replacement.... And yes, it will be faster!!!

Curtis- Just wanted to thank you and the whole DC crew. My first race with DC Batteries in my car and I WON the first Florida state race of the year in 1/12. Thanks to my DC batteries run time was never an issue. When dumping my batteries after a qualifier the least amount of battery life I had left was 36 seconds at 30 amps after an 8 minute run with a hot lap before and after Curtis you're the man and your IB3800's are awsome.

DC Motorsports also powered Dave Bowser to a Dominant TQ and win in the 19 turn class. He TQ'ed all three rounds of qualifing and lead every lap of the Main against some very good drivers even a couple of national level guys His brother Rob finished second in the very competative stock class, and Art Jensen finished 3rd in 1/12 class. All in all a very good weekend for DC

Thanks,
Roly

thanks for the props Roly and congrats on your win in 1/12...................I must say that the batteries that Curtis sent my brother and I were top fuel I have never ran IB3800's like these.....................in MOD I would have at least 65 sec of runtime left and in 19T 130 sec left my brothers car in stock was realy good the FL state series went to 6 min stock this year and he would have at least 120 sec left so runtime and rip was never an issue

I also ran the new DCM CP motors in MOD these motors are top fuel i had the fastest laps in the MOD main it was just sick

so thanks Curtis for the mad HP that powered me to a TQ and win in 19T and 2nd in MOD and my brother to 2nd in stock and 8th in 19T

you can find all the results and lap times at rcresults.com

once again thanks Curtis
