..Could you Guys tell me what is the fastest 19t that you offer? I need it for 1/12 carpet specifically, but I may run some asphalt before the end of Summer.

Thanks in advance.

i just got a team brood pro stock motor. it is the very light green metallic colour. i think it is a monster. if it is a monster, what gearing woud you recommend? i race on an on-road, outdoor asphalt track. the main straight is about 30meters long. the track is fairly fast and flowing

What sort of rpm figures do the ATLAS Blue motors produce?

Team Brood or anyone else - I'm looking for a new 27T stock for my 12th scale car. I want a Brood motor, but I'm not sure if I should get the CO27 (which I use now) or the Stockstar. Using EnerG team cells from Pro Match. Any recommendations? I've read that the Stockstar tends to run hot and cook more than the CO27. Track is CRC carpet, flowing track with some tight technical sections. You can see track pics at the link below. So, what motor would be best?

Russman,

My last Brood order was a stockstar and a Peeler Edition CO27.

I ran the CO27 for 10 weeks and have been running the Stockstar for 6 weeks.
3 teeth bigger on the Stockstar and I am getting the same lap times - which may not make sense from what I have read.
The stockstar has been quoted as having RPM as high as the epic X.
I guess no two motors are the same.

I don't temp gun, but I would say the stockstar does run hotter.

I lathed the Stockstar and changed it's brushes last night and will race it tonight. I think this has improved it based on run in current. I am going to push it one more tooth.

The comm of the Stockstar seems to get really dirty, more than any other motor I have had, but the actuall aount or wear is low, 4/100th of mm. after 3 weeks (15 x 5mins + practice).
There is not much brush or spring choice for the Stockstar that I can locate.

I won't make a recomendation tho, I aint had enough experience.
It's just my experience so far.

You can't go wrong with either way really. I have had really good reports on the Stockstar in 1/12th scale....you should not have much heat issues in 1/12th scale since you are running much lower voltage...
